Orthopedic Injuries

Our approach at Liberty Hill Physical Therapy is to treat the whole patient despite having a post-operative injury or an isolated injury. We offer a variety of personalized treatments to ensure our patients’ long-term health and wellness.  Services may include a combination of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, McKenzie therapy, mechanical traction, dry needling, and kinesiotaping.

Trigger Point
Dry Needling

Dry needling, also known as intramuscular stimulation, is a treatment therapy that uses thin, threadlike needles to penetrate stiff or knotted muscles that are injured or causing pain. The treatment focuses on musculoskeletal pain “trigger points,” which are tight, sore bands in muscle tissue that may lead to pain. These trigger points may also be the source of a limited range of motion and loss of flexibility. Dry needling is used in addition to an exercise program to relieve muscular pain and stiffness while improving the abilities of those muscles

Panther Wellness

Sometimes the young athlete doesn't need the full workup with physical therapy.  Maybe they have aggravated a joint and/or muscle tissue from being overworked or competing in a bad position.  When you'd like to focus on a problem area before a big game or after a long, competitive weekend, book a session of Panther Wellness.  No PT referral is required.  With its roots in physical therapy, Panther Wellness was developed with the goal of bringing a brief session of hands-on stretching, tissue massage and kinesiotape application to the athlete in order to provide overall wellness and improve continued success and performance.
